Mireia Barba, recognized as an Ashoka Social Entrepreneur by the Espigoladors Foundation
We are proud to announce that our founder, Mireia Barba, has been selected as an Ashoka Fellow at the 18th edition of Ashoka Changemakers Day 2024, held yesterday at CosmoCaixa.
This recognition highlights the commitment of Mireia and the entire Espigoladors team and es im-perfect for creating innovative solutions against food waste and promoting real sustainability with social impact.
The award is given by the Foundation Ashoka Spain , a leading organization in innovation and social entrepreneurship globally, with more than 3,800 social entrepreneurs in its network and considered one of the most influential NGOs in the world.
"This recognition, for Espigoladors, for my team and for me, is a seal of trust and a window of opportunity to connect with new communities of change agents and to be part of an ecosystem that accompanies us in the scalability of our model," explains Mireia.
