Foods of Spain Award 2024

Spain Food Award 2024 in the INITIATIVE FOR THE REDUCTION OF FOOD WASTE category.

At es im-perfect®, a project of the Espigoladors Foundation, we have received the Spain Food Award 2024 in the category Initiative for the Reduction of Food Waste, an award that strengthens our commitment to a fairer, more sustainable and inclusive food system.

In 2023, we committed to scaling our model to multiply our environmental and social impact. We increased production, diversified marketing channels, launched new ranges of products made from recovered food, and invested in new machinery and R&D&I projects to continue innovating. Additionally, we were one of the first organizations to have a Plan for the Prevention of Food Loss and Waste.

This award recognizes the effort of the entire team and the people and entities that are part of this project. It encourages us to continue transforming food loss and waste into opportunities for people and for the planet.
